Brandy Sauce
The classic accompanying sauce for the festive season as variation try substituting brown sugar in place of powdered sugar.

Ingredients
600ml/1 pint milk
30ml/1 fl oz brandy
90g/3 oz sugar
4 tablespoons cornflour mixed to a paste with cold milk
