Spicy Sweetcorn with Peppers

    Cooking time: 7 - 10 minutes

Ingredients

18oz tin sweet corn
4 dessert spoons of cooking oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 medium chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon green chillies
1 flat teaspoon of ginger
1/2 heaped teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
1 flat teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons dessicated cocunut
1 flat teaspoon cumin and coriander

Method

  • Put the oil into a pan
  • When hot add cumin seeds and onion, mix well
  • Cook until slightly brown then add the rest of the ingredients
  • Continue cooking for about 7- 10 minutes on a low heat
