Sweet Luxury (soft) Pastry Ii
Sweet pastry II is just a variation and is easier to roll, yet softer tastes equally as nice cooked as Sweet pastry 1
Preparation time: 10-15 minutes Quantity: Makes 1 pie or 1 tart
Ingredients
125g/ 4 oz soft butter
60g/ 2 oz sugar
vanilla, lemon and salt
1 egg beaten
240g/ 8 oz plain flour
a few drops of lemon and vanilla
Method
- Cream fat and sugar slowly
- Add egg then the flour and flavouring to form a dough
- Wrap in cling film and rest for 1 hour in the fridge
