Ingredients

2 cups chapattis flour
3 dessert spoons cooking oil
Clarified butter ghee (for shallow frying)
water

Method

  • Melt ghee
  • Mix dough (chapatti flour, oil and water)
  • Make dough into medium balls then roll out thinly
  • Apply ghee and sprinkle dry flour than roll into parcels
  • Then roll again and put on the hot griddle
  • Cook without ghee on medium heat turning twice
  • Then add a little melted ghee, cook for a few seconds then turn onto the other side and put on more ghee
  • Cook on both sides until you see brown specks, turning a couple of times
