Panch Phoran

Found in some Indian Curry recipes.
I like it added to chutneys, to flavour it up, especially nice with pineapple.

Preparation time: 5 minutes   Quantity: makes a 30g batch  

Ingredients

1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon fennel
1 teaspoon black mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon fenugreek
1 teaspoon nigella seeds

Method

  • Grind and keep for a few months
