Strawberry Sauce
This is a basic fruit sauce, that will keep in the fridge for several days and freeze for several months. You can replace the strawberries with any soft fruit of choice.
Preparation time: 10 minutes Quantity: Serves 6-10 Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
200g/ 8 oz strawberrys
200g/ 8 oz caster sugar
120 ml / 4 fl oz water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Method
- Puree the fruit
- Boil the sugar and water to 120*c
- Add the fruit
- Chill
