Bliss Balls I - The Flapjack One
This is a series of bliss ball recipes, all different and all easy to make and extremely healthy. At around 100 calories each they make great treats and lunch box essentials.
Preparation time: 10 minutes Quantity: makes approx. 10 Cooking time: no cooking required
Ingredients
100g porridge oats
25g bran or wheat germ (optional)
2 tablespoons coconut milk - the thick cream on top of the tin
1 tablespoon honey
80g raisins
60g dried apricots - chopped
60 ml / 4 tablespoons any milk - e.g.- soya
1/2 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
1/2 tablespoon sunflower seeds (or 1 tablespoon of one or the other seeds)
Method
- Simply mix the whole lot together
- With clean wet hands mould in to small balls the size of plums (approx. 40-50g each)
- Store in the fridge to set a little, until needed
Variation - roll the balls in chopped nuts
