Pan Fried Apples
Try pan-frying slices of apple brushed with a little maple syrup as an accompaniment to grilled meats, especially pork and fish
Preparation time: 5 minutes Quantity: Serves 2 Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
15g/ 1/2 oz butter
1 apple-cored and cut 8 wedges
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Method
- Melt the butter in a pan
- Fry the apple slices till browned on on side
- Turn over and add the maple syrup
- Cook till browned on both sides and the maple sticky
