Pan Fried Apples

Try pan-frying slices of apple brushed with a little maple syrup as an accompaniment to grilled meats, especially pork and fish

Preparation time: 5 minutes   Quantity: Serves 2   Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

15g/ 1/2 oz butter
1 apple-cored and cut 8 wedges
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Method

  • Melt the butter in a pan
  • Fry the apple slices till browned on on side
  • Turn over and add the maple syrup
  • Cook till browned on both sides and the maple sticky
