Coffee Bean Syrup

This goes really well with chocolate desserts and citrus tarts, or blend into a coffee mousse for an added coffee flavour

Preparation time: 5 -10 minutes   Quantity: Makes 6 - 8 portions   Cooking time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

100g/ 4 oz sugar
100 ml /4 fl oz water
10g/ ½ oz coffee beans

Method

  • Boil all ingredients to a syrup for approx. 5 minutes
