Monkfish Shashlik
Use any firm fleshed fish for this kebab. Serve simply with a portion of crushed new potatoes, mushed with sour cream and dill.
Preparation time: 10 minutes plus marinating Quantity: Serves one Cooking time: 8 minutes
Ingredients
Marinade -
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon sour cream
1 clove garlic - small -crushed (optional)
pinch salt
150 -200g / 6 - 8 oz monk fish - boned
Method
- Mix the ingredients for the marinade together
- Cut the fish in to large dice / chunks
- Mix in to the marinade and leave to flavour for 20 minutes
- Thread on to a soaked bamboo stick or skewer
- Grill on all sides till firm and cooked approx. 6 - 8 minutes
