Pan Fried Crispy Fish

This crisp, golden-brown fish recipe will make a satisfying supper for all the family. For a healthier version remove the skin after cooking, cook skin side down with no oil in a non stick pan - fish is recommended in the diet twice a week.

Preparation time: 5 minutes   Quantity: Serves 1   Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

1 portion of fish, salmon, cod or haddock etc. (skin on)

Method

  • Season one portion of fish i.e. salmon, cod, haddock etc. (skin on)
  • Fry in a hot oiled pan, skin side down, for 4-5 minutes until very brown
  • Turn over and cook for a further 2-3 minutes
  • Serve skin side up, the skin will be delicious and crispy
  • Salmon is best under cooked
