Cooking time: 15 - 20 minutes

Ingredients

1lb of minced lamb (add 1 egg to bind together)
4 desert spoons cooking oil
1 small chopped onion (chopped)
1 small spring onion
2 dessert spoon (heaped) breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin and coriander mix
1 flat teaspoon red chilli powder
1 flat teaspoon fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic
1 fresh chilli (optional)
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garam masala

Coriander for garnish-
4 dessert spoons oil
tomato puree

Method

  • Mix all ingredients together except for oil and tomato puree (marinate for about 1 hour)
  • Make small meatballs by gently rolling in palm of hand
  • Put 4 dessert spoons of oil in pan. Put in meatballs and cook for about 15 -20 minutes (medium heat)
  • Put in a little tomato puree then whizz around the pan
  • To garnish sprinkle fresh corriander before serving
