Ingredients

1 slice thick bread per person
(this gives 2 pieces of melba toast)

Method

  • Put the sliced bread in the toaster and toast
  • Cut of the crusts off and slice through the middle - so you have two squares - with one side toasted
  • Heat up the grill and grill the other side till golden (beware the toast can burn quickly)
  • Serve or store in an airtight container till ready
