Mushroom Provencal
Preparation time: 5-10 minutes Quantity: Serves 4 Cooking time: 10-15 minutes
Ingredients
1/2 lb/ 250g of mushrooms
butter
olive oil
2 cloves crushed garlic
1/2 pint fresh tomato sauce (see Cookeryclub recipe)
cheese (optional)
Method
- Wash and slice mushrooms
- Pan fry in a little butter and oil till soft
- Add crushed garlic
- Add fresh tomato sauce
- Warm through and serve
- Alternatively place in a dish sprinkle with cheese and grill till melted
