Grilled Tomatoes and Herbs

A quick vegetable dish suitable for all kinds of meats and fish dishes. Try thyme or basil.

Preparation time: 5 minutes   Quantity: Serves 2   Cooking time: 8 - 10 minutes

Ingredients

4 plum or organic fresh tomatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon chopped fresh (or 1/4 teaspoon dried herbs)

Method

  • Cut tomatoes in ½ and place on a tray drizzle with olive oil, season and sprinkle with fresh chopped herbs or a pinch of dried
  • Grill for 8 –10 minutes till soft and browned
