Sweet or Salty Lassi - Indian Yogurt Drink

Lassi’s are the perfect drink with curries they cool the palate down and are very Moorish- give them a try! Try either salted or sweet, or blend with mango puree.

Preparation time: 5 minutes   Quantity: Makes 4 glasses   Cooking time: no cooking required

Ingredients

1 tub / 450g natural yoghurt
plus equal quantities of full fat milk

Sweet -
4 - 6 teaspoons caster sugar

Salt -
1/2 - 1 teaspoon salt

Mango -
1 mango, peeled and pureed

Pistachio -
3 teaspoons crushed pistachios

Method

  • Whisk the yoghurt and milk together
  • Add enough sugar or salt to taste
  • Serve over ice


Tip - shake over ice in a cocktail shaker
