Pear and Ginger Smoothie

A gorgeously flavoured smoothie. ginger can help prevent nausea -think morning sickness, while pears are high in iodine.

Preparation time: 5-10 minutes   Quantity: Serves 2  

Ingredients

1 tablespoon of chopped stem ginger or grated fresh ginger
1 tub (450 ml) natural yogurt
2 tablespoons maple syrup
3 peeled cored over ripe pears

Method

  • Blend all ingredients together and serve on ice
