Ginger Lemonade
Preparation time: 10 minutes plus cooling time Quantity: Enough for 4 Cooking time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
6 cm or so fresh ginger
4 tablespoons water
6 tablespoons sugar
6 lemons - zest and juice
Method
- Slice the ginger in to 2 mm slices
- In a pan add the ginger, zest and sugar
- Bring to the boil, simmer for 1-2 minutes
- Leave to infuse and cool
- Squeeze in the lemon juice
- Serve- topped up with still or sparkling water
