Char-Grilled Greek Style Lamb Steaks
I used to work with a Greek chef and I got all sorts of tips on Greek and Cypriot cooking. The flavours are more robust than Mediterranean and true Greek food is delicious.

Preparation time: 10 minutes Quantity: Serves 4 Cooking time: 15 - 20 minutes
Ingredients
4 leg of lamb steaks or double chops
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons clear honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano

Method
- Marinate the lamb in the rest of the ingredients
- Leave for minimum 20 minutes or preferably overnight
- Char-grill on a hot griddle for 3-5 minutes on each side or more for well-done/overcooked!
- Baste occasionally with the excess marinade
- Remove the lamb and rest the meat for 5 minutes
- Meanwhile add the rest of the marinade and boil to a syrup to glaze the lamb
