Dried Fruits and Rice Muesli

An alternative to wheat cereals, but all the taste and plenty of goodness. Bran, granola or oats could be added for extra bite and fiber.
Serve with milk, milk alternatives or bind with yogurt.

Ingredients

120 g / 4 oz brown rice - cooked
60 g / 2 oz flaked millet (or granola)
60 g / 2 oz raisins
60 g / 2 oz chopped dried prunes
60 g / 2 oz chopped dried apricots
60 g / 2 oz own choice other dried fruit
1 - 2 tablespoons seeds i.e. - linseed, sunflower, pumpkin,
1 tablespoon dried coconut (optional)

Method

  • Simply mix all the ingredients together and serve


Tip - cook the rice the night before and store in the fridge until needed.
This mix will not keep in the store cupboard, for best results make fresh.
