American All Beef Burgers
American burgers are simply seasoned good quality mince molded in to patties. They are absolutely delicious cooked on a real charcoal barbecue, served in proper baps (not those light weight sesame seed topped ones) and slices of red onions, beef tomatoes and gherkins - Bring out the ketchup - yummy!
Preparation time: 10 minutes Quantity: makes 4 burgers Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
450 g / 1 lb. good quality minced beef
good pinch salt (1/4 teaspoon)
10 - 12 twists black pepper (1/3 teaspoon)
Method
- Simply mix the seasoned mince by hand until well mixed and incorporated
- Mould in to 4 x 4 oz (quarter pounders) burger patties
- B.B.Q, grill, pan fry or chargrill until medium rare (off course well done is recommended)
