English Omelette
Preparation time: 5 minutes Quantity: Serves 1 Cooking time: 6-8 minutes
Ingredients
3 eggs - beaten
butter or olive oil
cheese (optional)
Method
- Crack the eggs in to a jug
- Heat a little butter or oil in a small omelette pan
- Add the eggs when the butter bubbles, stir round till nearly set
- Sprinkle with cheese (optional)
- Season with salt and pepper
- Fold over (1/2 moon shape) and cook only for a few minutes more
- An omelette should feel like a puffed out cheek!!! not an old boot!!!
