A quick and easy sauce to serve with beef or use as a dip for Kebabs or try as a marinade.

Preparation time: 10 minutes   Quantity: Makes just over 1/2 pint/10 fl oz  

Ingredients

60g white mustard seeds
60g black mustard seeds
150ml/5 fl oz whisky
60ml/2 fl oz balsamic vinegar
5 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1/2-teaspoon allspice
1/2-teaspoon course sea salt
10 twists black pepper

Method

  • Beat everything together
  • Store in a lidded jar
  • Will keep for a few months
