Chocolate Dipped Fruits

Fruit and Chocolate - a delightful combination, the good and the bad, the healthy and the addictive. Try these as an after dinner treat or just have fun eating them at anytime.

Preparation time: 20 minutes   Quantity: Makes enough chocolate for 8-10  

Ingredients

1 bar chocolate
Choice of dipping things, choose one or a mix

grapes
strawberries
raspberries
satsuma segments
mango slice’s
dried apricots
kiwi edges
banana chunks
or try -
marshmallows
small biscuits or cookies
amaretti biscuits

Method

  • Chop or grate the chocolate
  • Melt the chocolate either in a bowl over a pan of simmering water or in a microwave, in a bowl in short bursts, stirring until melted
  • Dip the fruit one at a time, with the help of a fork or skewer either covering half of it or all of it
  • Shake off excess chocolate
  • Place on a piece of greaseproof paper or a plate
  • When full and finished chill in the fridge till hard
