Sticky Dark Chocolate Pudding

These individual puddings are a real treat -perfect with Vanilla ice-cream to compliment their richness.

Preparation time: 20 minutes   Quantity: Serves 4 - 6   Cooking time: 20-25 minutes

Ingredients

50g/ 2 oz butter
5 tablespoons golden syrup
100g dark chocolate- chopped
125g/ 5 oz plain flour-sieved
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
125g/ 5 oz light brown sugar
120 ml/ 4 fl oz full fat milk
1 large egg

Method

  • Melt the butter and syrup in a pan
  • Add the chocolate and stir on low till melted
  • Leave aside
  • Mix the flour, cocoa, bicarbonate and sugar together
  • Beat in the egg and milk
  • Stir in the chocolate mix
  • Pour/spoon in to individual greased moulds
  • Bake in a preheated oven Gas 4/180*c/380*f - for 20-25 minutes till set
