Chocolate and Almond Crunchy Pot

A quick and easy 10 minute dessert - try other liqueurs or try white chocolate instead.

Preparation time: 10-15 minutes   Quantity: Serves 4  

Ingredients

1 bar -100g 70% cocoa dark chocolate
1 pot/250g Mascarpone cheese
1 measure Amaretto liqueur
50g/ 2 oz caster sugar
6-8 Amaretti Biscuits -crushed

Method

  • Melt the chocolate in short bursts in the microwave or over a bain marie
  • Meanwhile mix the sugar with the liqueur
  • Meanwhile beat the Mascarponi
  • Then mix everything together -including the crushed Amaretti biscuits
  • Spoon in to individual bowls or glasses
  • Chill in the fridge till needed
