Blueberry Sorbet
Preparation time: 10 minutes Quantity: Serves 4 Cooking time: cooling and chiling time.
Ingredients
100g/ 4 oz caster sugar
150 ml/1/4 pint water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
550g/ 16 oz blueberrys
Method
- Boil the sugar and water, until the sugar is dissolved
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes, add the vanilla.
cool
- Puree the blueberry’s and add to the sugar syrup
- Place in an ice-cream machine or freeze, mixing every 30 minutes or so
