Hot Sticky Fruit Sauce
The perfect accompaniment to ice-cream, plain cheesecakes and tarts or simply serve with homemade biscuits.

Ingredients
2 apples
1 pear
90g/ 3 oz butter
60g/ 2 oz light brown sugar
1 tablespoon fresh berries
1 lemon or lime juice
1 tablespoon golden syrup
Method
- Prepare the apples and pears, peel, core and cut large slices
- Melt the butter
- Add the sugar, cook till dissolved
- Gently cook of the apples and pear slices till caramelized
- Add the berries, juice and syrup
