Berry Puree
Preparation time: 10 minutes Quantity: Makes a 450g batch
Ingredients
450g/ 1 lb of fresh or frozen mixed or single berries
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
( or 1 - 2 tablespoons caster sugar)
Method
- Puree, liquidise or mash the fruit together with the honey or maple syrup or caster sugar
- The other method is to cook the puree with the sugar, this lasts a little longer , is a little darker and is richer in taste
