Creole Spice Mix

Mix with sautéed vegetables, or with rice, or use to marinate fish and cook till blackened for Creole Blackened Fish.

Preparation time: 5 minutes   Quantity: makes approx. 60g  

Ingredients

1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1/2 tablespoon cayenne
1/2 tablespoon chilli powder

Method

  • Mix all ingredients well
  • Store in an airtight container away from heat and sunlight
