Chermoula - Moroccan Dip
This can be used as a cooking sauce, to cook pieces of seafood or chicken or served as a dip. This works well with king prawn kebabs.
Preparation time: 5 minutes Quantity: Enough for 4 Cooking time: 2 minutes
Ingredients
100g / 4 oz butter
100 ml olive oil
4 - 5 tablespoons flat parsley - chopped
1 lemon - juiced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 pinch saffron
pinch salt
8 - 10 twists black pepper
Method
- Melt the butter and oil in a pan
- Add all the ingredients and cook for a minute
- Season to taste
- Either serve as a warm dip or use to sauté your chosen meat, vegetables or seafood.
