Chocolate Fudge Cake

A quick all in recipe, that gives great results.
The cake keeps for days and is so moist, good hot, warm or cold but best with ice-cream and hot chocolate fudge sauce.

Preparation time: 15 minutes   Quantity: Serves 12 - 14   Cooking time: 1- 1&1/4 hours

Ingredients

6 tablespoons cocoa
150g/6 oz butter
6 fl oz vegetable oil
12 fl oz water
400g/16 oz sugar
300g/12 oz self raising flour
3 eggs
6 fl oz milk
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
2 teaspoons vanilla essence

Method

  • Beat all together, mixing very well until light and paler
  • Pour into a 9 inch tin and bake in a medium oven for 1 - 11/4 hours till set in the middle
