Bliss Balls V - The Date and Cinnamon One

What can I say about the many Bliss Ball recipes CookeryClub have - all tried and tested with pleasure, vitality and glee. Quick and very simple to make, grab them for breakfast, picnics, dessert, for lunch boxes or simply grabbed because their around 100 calories each, tasty and good for you. It’s the between snack you can eat anytime.

Preparation time: 10 minutes   Quantity: Makes 6   Cooking time: no cooking required

Ingredients

35g / 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
20g / 1 tablespoons almonds (sliced or whole)
3 dates (any)
2 tablespoons Date syrup
4 tablespoons oats (any)
20g / 1 tablespoon raisins
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Method

  • Pulse the seeds, nuts, dates and syrup in a blender until just broken up, but not mushed
  • Spoon out and stir in the oats, raisins and cinnamon
  • With damp clean hands mould in to plum shaped balls
  • Set in the fridge for a few minutes or until needed


Variations - roll the balls in toasted oats and cinnamon
