Ingredients

To make this Winter Fruit Parcel Recipe you will need the following ingredients:
Multiply as needed -
One person - approx.
1 plum - halved and de-stoned
3 - 4 blackberries
1/2 medium apple -cored and sliced
6 - 8 black grapes
15 ml/ 1/2 measure alcohol - like wine, port, sherry, rum, marsala, Malibu, limoncello etc.
1/4 cinnamon stick (optional)
1 star anise (optional)
1 square piece of greaseproof paper and string to tie up

Methods

  1. To make this Winter Fruit Parcel Recipe:
    • Wrap the prepared fruit in a square of greaseproof paper
    • Leave no gaps but leave enough space for the steam
    • Tie with a length of string
    • Bake for 20 - 25 minutes on the middle shelf in a preheated oven gas 5/ 180*c
    • Serve with a dollop of creme fraiche
