Ingredients

To make Baked Pork Wontons you will need the following ingredients:
Filling - 150g / 6 oz minced pork
1 small egg (or 1/2 large),
1 teaspoon cornflower
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
1 clove crushed garlic
1/2 sliced spring onion (use the green top)
1 teaspoon fresh coriander -chopped
1/4 red chilli -finely chopped (option) season
24 wonton pastry sheets
A little beaten egg
Oil for greasing

Methods

  1. To make Baked Pork Wontons
    • Mix all the ingredients for the filling together
    • Lay all the wonton pastries out
    • Brush the edges with egg
    • Place small amounts of the mix in the middle of each won ton pastry
    • Shape by pulling the edges together to make little parcels
    • Bake for in a preheated oven 180c/ gas 6-7 for 8 - 10 minutes or until golden
