Ingredients

To make this Chocolate Pecan Brownies Recipe you will need the following ingredients:
180g/ 6 z butter- softened
300g/ 10 oz / 2 bars dark chocolate
300g/ 10 oz caster sugar
3 large eggs
100g/ 4 oz plain flour-sifted
300g/ 10 oz pecans-roughly chopped/broken

Methods

    • To make this Chocolate Pecan Brownies Recipe
    • Melt the butter and the chopped chocolate over a bain marie (in a bowl over simmering water) • Stir when melted
    • Meanwhile whisk the eggs and the sugar together till frothy and paler
    • Whisk the two together
    • Fold in the flour and broken nuts
    • Spoon in to a greased tray
    • Bake in a preheated oven gas 6/200*c on the middle shelf for 30-40 minutes or till cooked Recommended tray bake tin 8 inch square or equivilent- ish
