Ingredients

To make Banana, Rum and Raisin Loaf you will need the following ingredients:
70g/ 2 ½ oz soft butter
130g/ 5 oz sugar
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
280g/ 10 oz plain flour
220g/ 8 oz raisins soaked in rum
1 large banana - sliced

Methods

  1. To make this Banana, Rum and Raisin Loaf
    • Cream together butter and sugar
    • Then add dry ingredients
    • Mix in rum, raisins and banana
    • Cook for 1 hour in a loaf tin Gas 3-4/ 180c
    • Recommended cake tin- approximate size, 2lb loaf tin or 7 - 8 inch tin
