Ingredients

In order to make our Spiced Oatmeal Biscuits Recipe you will need the following ingredients:
120g/ 4 oz plain flour
½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
60g/ 2 oz butter
60g/ 2 oz light brown sugar
1 tablespoon golden syrup
60g/ 2 oz oatmeal/porridge oats
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
A pinch of allspice
Water to bind

Methods

    To make these Spiced Oatmeal Biscuits:
    • Sift the flour and bicarbonate and rub in the butter
    • Add the syrup, sugar, oats and spice
    • Mix in enough water to make a firm dough
    • Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of mix on to a greased tray
    • Bake on a tray for 10 minutes Gas 4/180*c/350*f
