Ingredients

To make this Russian Style Sausages - Mixed Meat, Rye and Vodka Recipe you will need the following ingredients:
100g dark rye bread diced.
150ml/5 fl oz milk
200g minced pork
200g minced lamb
200g minced/finely chopped streaky bacon
2 finely diced/ minced medium onions
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 shot vodka
1 teaspoon chopped dill
1/3-teaspoon salt
15 twists black pepper

Methods

  1. To make this Russian Style Sausages - Mixed Meat, Rye and Vodka Recipe:
    • Soak the bread cubes in the milk for 10 minutes
    • Squeeze out the bread and disregard the excess milk
    • Add to the minced meats and all else
    • Mix in with your clean hands
    • Leave to marinade together for 30 minutes or overnight
    • Stuff in to soaked sausage skins- see chocolate sausages for method
