Ingredients

To make this Pear and Hazelnut Crusty Bake Recipe you will need the following ingredients:
2 large eggs
150g/ 6 oz light brown sugar
3 tablespoons wholemeal flour
2 level teaspoons baking powder
A pinch of mixed spice
3 peeled- pears-chopped
30g/ 1 oz sultanas
30g/ 1 oz raisins
75g/ 3 oz crushed hazelnuts.
2 teaspoons extra light brown sugar

Methods

  1. To make this Pear and Hazelnut Crusty Bake Recipe:
    • Whisk the eggs and sugar till lighter and frothy
    • Sift in the flour, add the wholemeal bits
    • Fold in everything else
    • Pour in to a greased baking tin, sprinkle on the extra sugar
    • Bake in a preheated oven Gas 5/180*c - for 40-50 minutes, or until set in the middle
