Ingredients

In order to make these great Lolly-pop dippers you will need the following ingredients:
3 ripe bananas
150 g dark chocolate 60% or greater cocoa
A knob of butter
Things to dip - hundreds & thousands, chocolate balls, vermicelli, chopped nuts, coconut, seeds etc
Extras -
6 wooden skewers

Methods

  1.  To make these fantastic Lolly dippers recipe:
    • Cut the bananas in half straight in the center to form 2 equal pieces (NOT like in a banana split) .
    • Freeze on a plate for an hour or so.
    • Meanwhile melt the chocolate in a bain marie (in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water) .
    • Stir in the butter.
    • Stick each banana with a skewer to form the lolly and dip into the chocolate to coat all over, use a spoon if this helps. The chocolate will set pretty quickly.
    • Dip or sprinkle on your goodies - do this quickly so they stick to the melted chocolate.
