Ingredients

In order to make these delicious Thai Prawn Cakes you will need the following ingredients:
400g raw prawns
2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 teaspoons lemon grass puree (or finely chopped) 3 tablespoons fresh coriander, finely chopped (and some more to serve)
1 egg white
1 teaspoon palm sugar (or soft brown sugar)
The zest of 1 lime
2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
1 tablespoons Thai basil
3 teaspoons sweet chilli sauce (and some more to serve)
1 teaspoon sea salt
Light oil for frying e.g. sunflower oil

Methods

  1. To make these Thai Prawn Cakes:
    • Simply combine all of the ingredients in a food processor
    • Shape the mixture into small balls, flatten them slightly, then fry them in a little light oil
    • Serve with coriander leaves, and some more sweet chilli sauce.
