Ingredients

To make this Easy Carrot Cake II Recipe you will need the following ingredients:
250 g / 10 oz plain flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2 teaspoon all spice
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon just over
1/2 pint / 270 ml any milk just under
1/2 pint / 220 ml vegetable or sunflower oil
2 eggs - large 50 g / 2 oz any sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence or 1/2 extract
200 g / 8 oz grated carrots
100 g / 4 oz raisins Oven Temperature - gas 5 / 180*c / 380*f
Cake tin size - 8 inch loose bottomed tin or similar

Methods

    • To make this Easy Carrot Cake II Recipe
    • Sift the flour together with the b.p, bicarb and spice
    • Mix all the wet ingredients together in a jug
    • Beat the wet in to the dry and add all else
    • Mix until smooth
    • Spoon in to a greased tin
    • Bake in a preheated oven gas 5 for 30 - 40 minutes or until cooked
