Best Burgers - perfect for the BBQ
This is a really easy and tasty burger which everybody will enjoy serve in large burger buns with plenty of salad and relishes.
These freeze really well so you can always have a reserve.
Preparation time: 30 minutes Quantity: Makes approx 10 x 2oz burgers
Cooking time: 10 - 15 minute
Ingredients 1 red onion finely chopped
2 crushed cloves garlic
½ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon cumin
¼ teaspoon ginger
500g/1 lb minced beef (460g)
1 whole egg
60g/2 oz fresh crumbs
1 tablespoon tomato puree (optional)
• Sauté onions until soft
• Add spices, cook for a few moments and cool
• Add fresh herbs (optional)
• Add to minced beef , add 1 whole egg, fresh crumbs and tomato puree (optional)
• Mix well and generously season
• Shape into 10 even sized mini burgers You can either grill, BBQ, chargrill or pan fry
