Children's Baking Essentials
Always get an Adult to help and cook with you.
- Always clean your hands before cooking
- Tidy up as you go
- Don’t touch anything hot
- Let an Adult do all the hard, hot and horrid things
- Help with the washing up
- Don’t lift anything too heavy
- Stay away from cooking pots and pans, kettles, fryers and steamers
- But most of all have fun
- And don’t forget to lick the spoon at the end - that’s the best part
Kitchen Equipment
- Assortment of cutters
- Spoons - wooden or plastic
- Assorted cooking tins and trays
- Small saucepan
- Small rolling pin or a lightweight one
- Pastry brush
- Assorted mixing bowls
- Measuring jug
- Kitchen scales
- Timer
- Measurement spoons (1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon)
- Cooling rack
