What is the quintessential British meal, does anyone know? The British dinner could be a Carvery, Roast meats, Shepherds Pie, Fish and chips or perhaps nowadays even a curry. Others would argue that that it is perhaps tripe and onion, jellied Eels, who really knows, it is not just British it is also regional and perhaps Haggis and Neeps should be the winner.
