Thai Style Sausages
Thai flavours make a fabulous spicy and aromatic sausage, with a kick to rival any other. Serve with lemon rice or a simple stir-fry.
Preparation time: 1 hour Quantity: Makes 10 - 12 portions Cooking time: 10 - 15 minutes
Ingredients
1 clove crushed garlic
2 teaspoons green curry paste
1 trimmed finely chopped lemon grass
2 finely sliced spring onions
1 teaspoons nam plah (fish sauce)
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
500g minced Pork
60g fresh breadcrumbs
5-6 leaves Thai basil (or just Basil)
1/3 teaspoon salt
10 twists black pepper
Method
- Mix all the ingredients together and leave to marinate overnight
- Stuff in to soaked sausage skins- see chocolate sausages for the method
