Basic Curry Powder

Basic Curry Powder is a fresh curry powder mix is sooooooo much nicer than the old packet mix in the back of your cupboard?

Preparation time: 5-10 minutes Quantity: Makes a 50g batch or so

Ingredients

4 dried small Indian red chillies

1/2 tablespoon coriander seeds

1/2 tablespoon tumeric

1 teaspoon mustard seeds

1 teaspoon black peppercorns

1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds

1 teaspoon ground ginger

Method

  • For Basic Curry Powder simply grind in a food blender or pestle and morter
  • Keep fresh for a couple of months in a lidded jar
