Essential equipment list
Saucepan set, including frying pan, 2-3 saucepans and a couple of lids
Wok (you can live without one)
Large Chopping board
Sharpe knife set - including small vegetable knife, large chopping knife and a serrated carving knife etc
Wooden spoon or two
Grater
Can opener
Bottle opener
Peeler
Set Mixing bowls
Measuring jug
Sieve or colander (not essential but handy)
Tongs
Salt and pepper set - preferably a black ground pepper mill
Blender - hand held - you can now get them for under a fiver
Kettle
Toaster
Microwave - you could cope with out one, but they are handy for reheating and defrosting
Don’t forget the crockery and cutlery
